About Me

Alisha Klapheke

Author of YA Fantasy

Inspired by history. Steeped in magic. Infused with romance.

As an active member of Romance Writers of America, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and my local critique group, I spend my non-day-job hours attending book launches at Parnassus here in Nashville, enjoying workshops, editing, and putting my imagination on paper through young adult stories.

Kathleen Rushall of Andrea Brown Literary Agency represents me in all things books.

My alter ego teaches Muay Thai kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Krav Maga (rad Israeli Army stuff) at our family’s martial arts studio. So watch it with the attitude, you, or you’ll find yourself eating a knee. Just kidding. Maybe.

Now, because I’m in love with lists, here are a few of my favorite things, interspersed with pics for funzies.

I hope you enjoy!
